Hard Probes 2023 - Final Bulletin
===========================================
Dear HP'23 participants,
We are looking forward to greeting you in Aschaffenburg in less than one week!
You may have noticed that the timetable of the conference is online since some time, with small updates for the parallel sessions' program still ongoing. We have placed all other information on our website and would like to give you a summary here.
Please note that Europe switches to summer time (daylight saving time) on the night of Saturday to Sunday, 25-26 March.
We will start with the student day at GSI Darmstadt on Sunday. The buses will leave from the B&B hotel in Aschaffenburg at 8:30 AM and we would like to ask those attending the lectures to come to the hotel lobby starting at 8:00 for performing the check-in. Participants will receive the confirmation of attendance and the conference material, and they will be asked for their permission to appear on photos to be published on the conference website. This early check-in will spare significant time at the entrance gate of GSI.
The check-in for all other participants will take place on Sunday, 26.03, 4 - 7 PM and on Mon, 27.03, 8 - 9 AM at the conference venue.
The scientific program starts on Monday at 9 AM and ends on Friday, 31.03 at 1 PM. Please take note of the instructions for presenters as available on our website. The afternoon of Wednesday, 29.03 is free from 4 PM on, with the idea that everyone interested can do a local (or less local) activity. The poster session is scheduled on Tuesday, 28.03. starting at 6:30 PM and takes place at the conference venue. Beer, non-alcoholic beverages and Brezels will be served.
Lunches will be served at the conference venue Monday to Thursday. On Friday lunch bags will be available for conference participants who request this during the check-in.
A welcome reception takes place on Monday 7:30 - 9:30 PM at restaurant "Jedermann im Stadttheater", Schlossgasse 8, Aschaffenburg.
The conference dinner will take place at the conference venue on Thursday, 30.03. from 7:30 to 10:30 PM and will be a bavarian evening.
We will communicate the password for Wifi at the opening of the conference and will post announcements relevant for the life of the conference on the front page of our website.
Please the note the conference app. A download link is available on our website.
We would like to acknowledge here already all the institutions and projects which generously supported HP'23, listed on the website, the IAC for helping setting up the program and LOC for the great work in making all happen.
We wish you a nice and safe trip to Aschaffenburg and we are looking forward to meeting you for a lively conference in a friendly and stimulating atmosphere.
With our best regards,
Anton Andronic

In order to enable an iCal export link, your account needs to have an API key created. This key enables other applications to access data from within Indico even when you are neither using nor logged into the Indico system yourself with the link provided. Once created, you can manage your key at any time by going to 'My Profile' and looking under the tab entitled 'HTTP API'. Further information about HTTP API keys can be found in the Indico documentation.
Additionally to having an API key associated with your account, exporting private event information requires the usage of a persistent signature. This enables API URLs which do not expire after a few minutes so while the setting is active, anyone in possession of the link provided can access the information. Due to this, it is extremely important that you keep these links private and for your use only. If you think someone else may have acquired access to a link using this key in the future, you must immediately create a new key pair on the 'My Profile' page under the 'HTTP API' and update the iCalendar links afterwards.
