Hard Probes 2023 - 2nd Bulletin

Dear colleague,
We are pleased to give you an update on important information concerning the "11th International Conference on Hard and Electromagnetic Probes of High-Energy Nuclear Collisions" ("Hard Probes 2023") which will take place from 26th to 31st of March, 2023 in Aschaffenburg, Germany.
While the abstract submission deadline has passed, the registration is open and the deadline for financial support applications has been extended to January 10, 2023. Upcoming important dates are:
10.01.23: EXTENDED Deadline for financial support application
20.01.23: Abstract acceptance notification (including support notification)
31.01.23: End of early-bird registration
Structure of the conference week
--------------------------------------
The structure of the conference week is:
- plenary talks on Monday, on Thursday after the morning coffee break, and on Friday until lunchtime when the conference will end
- parallel sessions on Tuesday, on Wednesday and on Thursday until the morning coffee break
- poster session on Tuesday afternoon after the parallel program
The second part of the afternoon on Wednesday is left free for the participants to arrange themselves an activity of their choice. Further details are available on the conference webpage.
Child care
--------------------------------------
By now, we have not received any request for providing child-care services going beyond providing a separate room for nursing. We are in contact with providers of day care for children of various ages, but we need to hear from participants who are or might be interested in such a service before the end of January 2023, i.e. the end of the early-bird registration.
Parking at the conference venue
--------------------------------------
For participants arriving by car, parking is available at the conference venue (Stadthalle am Schloss, Schlossplatz 1, Aschaffenburg, Germany). Weekly passes for the parking garage can be ordered for a reduced fee of 10 Euro/day until four weeks before the start of the conference. Therefore, we request that all participants who wish to order such a parking pass for the reduced fee contact us not later than February 26, 2023.
