Instructions for Presenters

Speakers

  • Duration of the talks:

    • Plenary talks: 25 minutes (20 minutes talk + 5 minutes questions)

    • Parallel talks: 20 minutes (15 minutes talk + 5 minutes questions)

    • Flash talks on Friday: 5 minutes (no questions)

    • Summary talks on Friday: 20 minutes (no questions) 

  • Speakers should upload their talk in PDF format at least 3 hours before the scheduled time of their talk by logging into the INDICO agenda, clicking on their talk entry in the agenda, and then clicking on "Presentation details"-->"Add materials to the contribution".

  • Only the official conference computers will be used for the projection. Use of own computers will not be accepted.

  • The projectors are of 16:9 aspect ratio.

Poster Presenters

  • The maximum size of the poster is A0 (841 mm x 1189 mm) and orientation is portrait.
  • The poster session is scheduled to be on Tuesday 28th March from 18:30 to 20:00. The location is the conference venue. Please mount your posters on the stands that will be available Tuesday after lunch, and dismount the posters right after the poster session.
  • We ask that you please upload the PDF of your poster on Indico by Sunday 26th March at 18:00, to allow participants to view it in advance. To do so, please click on “My Contributions” on the left menu, and from there on “Presentation Materials.”

  • We will have a best poster competition and 5-minute flash talks for the winners during the Plenary Session on Friday 31st March at 9:00 AM. The presenters of the winning posters will be notified by the end of Wednesday. Note that the poster must be uploaded to the agenda as PDF in order to be considered for the competition.
